Startup Summit: the agentic era left the stage and moved into operations

What was in the air

In almost every conversation — on stage, at the booths, in the coffee line — the same shift. People stopped talking about "adding a chatbot" and started talking about agents that execute: read a request, check it against the rule, trigger the action, flag it when something falls outside the pattern. The verb changed from "answer" to "do."

What separates the people doing it from the people talking about it

The difference wasn't in the model being used — it was in who had an answer to three questions: how do you measure whether the agent got better, what's the limit of what it does on its own, and who answers for it when it's wrong. Whoever had an answer was in production. Whoever didn't had been stuck in pilot for six months.

Where Tensoor comes in

We already operate that way internally: agents handle research, volume and repetitive tasks; people handle decisions, engineering and the relationship. The Summit confirmed that's the request that's coming in — companies that don't want "an AI project," they want the operation running with an agent inside it, measured and auditable.
